AIRMAR SS270W TWIN WIDE-BEAM TRANSDUCER

Airmar Technology Corporation recently introduced the new Twin Wide-Beam 50/200 kHz transducer, made especially for offshore anglers. The transducer provides 200 kHz, four times the beamwidth of other Airmar transducers, and covers 16.5 times more area at any given depth.

With a wider cone angle of 25 degrees and seven-element 50 kHz array, the new transducer makes finding baitfish in shallow to mid-water depths easier. Airmar also updated the transducer’s split-screen fish finder display, which clearly shows the same water column and bottom coverage. SUZUKI 250SS V6 FOURSTROKE OUTBOARD

Suzuki recently unleashed the new short-shaft 250SS V6 fourstroke outboard for 2008. The outboard comes engineered with a powerful 32-bit computer with high-performance programming, an extra-large dual intake and Suzuki’s proven multi-stage induction system. It also comes with Big Block 4.0-liter displacement, Suzuki’s Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC), and a fourvalves- per-cylinder V6 power head for added strength and power.

The outboard is designed using two intake manifolds per cylinder, one long and curved, one short and straight, delivering optimum fuel-air charge. The 250SS also comes outfitted with Variable Valve Timing, a feature that continually adjusts intake time for stronger low- and mid-range torque and delivers seamless acceleration. Suzuki’s 250SS additionally features a 20-inch shaft that, when combined with an aggressive lower unit, reduces hydrostatic drag. The lower unit houses powerful gearing that delivers a final drive ratio of 2.08:1. The narrow, 55- degree V-block and offset driveshaft make the outboard compact, weighing in at 578 pounds, and it also comes equipped with a powerful 54-amp alternator. The maximum operating range of the 250SS is 5300 to 6300 rpm. American Suzuki Motor Corporation; (714) 996-7040;

DEEP IMPACT 36 QUAD Specifications

The Deep Impact 36 is now available rigged with four Mercury Verado 300 engines, with high performance steering, and unique ultra-suede bolster seating with seat handles and straps. STAR TRON FUEL STABILIZER
STAR TRON FUEL STABILIZER

Star Tron fuel additive helps owners winterize their boats, but also does much more. Star Tron stabilizes fuel chemistry for up to one year in gasoline and up to two years in diesel fuel. It’s particularly effective with gasoline mixed with ethanol, which is becoming more and more common at marinas around the nation.

The ethanol in E10 fuels attracts increased amounts of water and the natural solvents that can form sludge in your fuel tank, but Star Tron breaks these impurities down to sub-micron size, allowing them to be burned away harmlessly during normal engine operation.
